Some dishes impress with their creativity, though a few feel less adventurous, sticking to familiar flavors that cater to a broad palate. Prices align reasonably with the quality and portion sizes, fostering a sense of fairness rather than extravagance.

Among various culinary highlights, one memorable plate features perfectly seared fish paired with vibrant salsas, demonstrating a thoughtful layering of textures and boldness. I love Chiringuito at Nuevo Vallarta but disappointed. Coming back from pool I got TOGO since in bathing suit and portions small, no sauces, and 1425 peso or $84 USD without tip. Service and atmosphere as usual were great. I also had a glass of Sangria while waiting which is their signature drink. Unfortunately I set my expectations too high but willing to try again next trip and not get TOGO. I originally gave an overall of 3 because they also got the wrong order but Janet made the extra effort to get it corrected. Also I do recognize portions are appetizers so naturally small. I really appreciate the Chiringuito team making the extra special effort and as usual all the food was very good!

This is probably one of my favorite restaurants in Vidanta Puerto Vallarta Mexico. As you can see, the view is lovely. The service was impeccable. We received a special deal with our Blue Card. Make sure you carry it with you. The tuna skewers were delicious, usually served raw but prepared especially for my liking.

Everything we ordered was excellent! Asparagus, mussels, and black rice with whole shrimp and octopus were fabulous! Wines from Mexico were also very good! Highly recommend!

Service was muy despacio but the food was great! Sadly the “chicken stew” was more of a soup - tasty though. My friend has the chicken skewers, which were tender and tasty! A side of asparagus complimented our meals, and if you have the Vida Privilege card, you’ll get a free Sangria!

Chiringuito is a lovely outdoor venue. The menu is loaded with classic Spanish tapas tostada, etc. Today we had chicken stew - so delicious! We also tried the toasts with Brie and steak. They were finished with caramelized red onion and were outstanding. The roasted asparagus in romesco sauce and sliced toasted almonds was perfection. So too were the papas bravas and the croquetas de jamón. Our only complaint, they were out of artichokes and we had heard rave reviews about them and didn’t get to try them.
